Design & Responsibility
2018
Poster, bound book, and set of reference cards
Physical execution of a written manifesto centered on sustainability, accessibility, |and teachability within graphic design.
The goal of this project was to adapt a written manifesto into a set of design objects.
My manifesto focused on designers’ responsibility to serve the world for good, including themes of education, sustainability, and accessibility. Symbols developed from a red cross are used throughout to visually communicate themes of aid, while the forms are inspired by objects used to spread religion. The set contains small book containing the full manifesto, a poster showing the frequencies of words used, and quick reference cards of the work’s principles.
